Visite de la Clinique des 4 Cantons

Ce lundi, je me suis rendu à la Clinique des 4 Cantons de Villeneuve d'Ascq pour faire une présentation sur le fonctionnement de l'Union Européenne et en particulier du Parlement Européen à une classe d'adolescents en soins-études. En activité depuis 2005, la clinique accueille des patients de 15 à 25 ans souffrant de difficultés relationnelles et psychologiques. Disposant de 26 places d'hospitalisation à temps complet et de 25 places en accueil de jour, la clinique est unique dans la région.

Cette visite m'a permis non seulement d'observer les conditions d'études des jeunes patients mais aussi d'échanger avec eux lors de discussions interactives sur le fonctionnement des institutions européennes. Nous avons donc pu discuter de thèmes qui les touchent au quotidien comme l'insertion des Roms (un campement étant installé à proximité de la clinique) ou le refus de l'accord ACTA, thèmes sur lesquels le Parlement européen a eu de nombreuses occasion de débattre et voter.
