Quels que soient son âge, ses goûts, ses pratiques ou ses moyens, j’ai souhaité que l’on puisse se distraire et vibrer au contact des artistes à Hellemmes. Dès lors, avec mes collègues de la Municipalité, nous avons fait de la programmation culturelle une priorité. Comme les saisons, la culture rythme l’année des Hellemmoises et des Hellemmois avec des expositions, du théâtre, de la musique et autres spectacles vivants.

Véritable invitation à sortir et à profiter d’une offre culturelle éclectique d’une rare qualité, cette déclinaison hivernale se déroulera du 27 janvier au 5 février. En présence de Bernard Derosier, Député du Nord, j’ai procédé au vernissage de l’exposition réservée à Christian Hévin, peintre-sculpteur hellemmois formé aux Beaux Arts de Lille qui nous présente durant toute une semaine à l’Espace des Acacias une sélection de ses plus belles œuvres.

Découvrir la richesse et la diversité des techniques de cinéma amateur, apprécier les prestations originales des comédiens, ou encore écouter des œuvres musicales au cœur du tango nuevo, du jazz ou du baroque… toutes les raisons sont bonnes pour venir s’installer confortablement dans les fauteuils du Kursaal.
